It is unusual to see a Conger Eel out in the open in daylight, but I still nearly
missed it. Once it had been pointed out to me, it seemed to take an age for the
camera auto-focus to work, giving the eel time to head off. From so close up,
it was difficult to keep the head in the frame. The eel was about 6-8 feet long.
